Rustic plaster is the hand-troweled, textured side of the decorative-plaster family. Applied in looser layers and left with a softer, matte surface, it gives walls a natural, tactile, stone-like character — warmer and more organic than a polished Venetian finish, and well suited to feature walls, hallways and fireplace surrounds.
